Big Girls!

One of the things we did on Saturday along with watching the ASU game and celebrating MaMaw's birthday was to pick up a bed Marshall and Kris were giving us. Their youngest, Mikala, had gotten a bigger bed and they asked us if we would like her old one. As this was something we had been praying for, we gladly accepted! Drew and Dustin loaded it up at the Croom's house this weekend and then broke down the double bed here and put up our "new bed" today.
Evie and Mary Fran will be sharing a bedroom within the next couple of weeks and are soooo excited about it. They have already shared a room at Karen and Winston's when we were there and are ready to do it again.
The bed is a twin bed with a trundle. Evie will be sleeping in the twin and MF in the trundle so that when she's learning to sleep in a "big girl bed" and may roll out, it won't be a far fall. :) The girls were so excited once we got the beds made...Mary Fran even wanted to sleep in the trundle for nap time! This was a little unusual as she is typically more timid. This weekend we will be having guests, so we decided to make the transition early next week. We'll keep you updated!

Sharing Mary Fran's soon-to-be bed. The quilt you see on Eves' bed was hand stitched by MaMaw for Drew and me as our wedding gift. Is it not beautiful? Thanks, MaMaw!
