Today was another day that my very capable husband shined around our house. We have been wanting to build a fence along the upper roadway (nobody uses it except for us and our neighbors up the hill and then only a few times and that's only when they're here as they live in Miami but I digress...). Seeing as the weather was going to be
beautiful Drew got outside, made the measurements, and headed off to Lowe's with his trusty sidekick (aka Evie). He got working straight away and I went out to help him after getting the girls down for naps and nursing Ward.

Good start on the split-rail fence. Doesn't he look good?

Daddy's other trusty sidekick (he actually has a total of four). It was a little chilly still but we quickly got to take Ward's
hoodie off. Yes, it's a Gamecock sweatsuit. :)

The finished product on one side and...

...on the other side.

After the good but hard day of work, Drew grilled us some salmon and it was so pretty we just had to take a picture of it. Don't you just want to jump through the screen and take a bite?!?! It was
delicious! The girls loved it, too. We had a very productive day and thoroughly enjoyed the sun and warmth ahead of the
snow (?!?) coming on Monday. I mean it is April in the High Country after all! Now off to watch the Tar Heels play...
