That's right! We got another snowstorm this past weekend. Out our way we got about 7-8" total which is less than the 16" we got right before Christmas...and NO ICE!!!! We are enjoying the snow even though our local weatherman (who really knows what he's talking about) said that in an El Nino system like we have this year the second half of winter is usually worse. Oh, well, it's as the girls and I keep saying, each day takes us closer to Spring! We really got to enjoy the snow this time around and I've got some pictures and video to prove it!
Yesterday afternoon Big Win, Molly, and Emmi came out to blow the snow off of our driveway and the road in front of our house. Look at that snow going!
My very able husband once again shovelled our porch and steps so we could safely get to and from the road. Molly brought over some sleds so we could slide. We have OK hills but all decided to head down to Dus and Daph's after the roads were cleared.
Now Dus and Daph have a nice hill for their front yard. After carving out some "sled runs" Drew and Eves decided to try it.
This one turned out not to be the best seeing as how they fell over at the end. They decided to try on the other side of the stairs...
...whilst waiting for the next sled run I snapped this shot of one of the houses on the hill. The snow is pretty to look at, isn't it?Here is my fearless husband going down the better sled run. Unfortunately, this one was not his fastest but I wasn't able to get the other ones. We're supposed to get some more snow this coming weekend so maybe we can have "take two" on the runs!

GREAT PICS!!It looks like lots of fun! Evie's right in the middle of the fun, as usual! Where was Miss Mary Fran?? Still not quite sure of the snow? How did Emmi like the snow? She looked like was enjoying it! Drew definitely had fun! Stay warm! Love to all! Mom/MeMe
Love all the pics of the snow, Fran! Looks like all are having great fun! I don't know if I could stand the cold, but it sure makes for pretty pictures! Funny that we were in Edisto at the same time. I'm really not sure how to tell you where my parents house is...the road we turn on to get to it is about a mile past the Old Post Office Restaurant. Does that tell you anything? This was our first time down there, so I'm sure I'll learn more as we are there for longer visits. Maybe we will be there at the same time again and can meet up! :)
