Here are a few pictures from last week:
I put Cade in the crib after changing his diaper to help Ward with something. Of course after that was done, Ward wanted in with his little brother! The Wardster wanted me to keep taking pictures of them but here's the best one. They're already big buds.On another note, Evie had been asking Drew if she could go hunting with him. He told her he'd take her last Wed night so off they went. She took a backpack with snacks, a couple of books, crayons, and her notebook. Oh, and don't forget the binoculars!
Here she is trying to scout out any deer.
The blind Drew rigged up for them. Worked pretty well he said!
Reading a little while waiting. Drew said Evie did really well keeping quiet and entertaining herself. Unfortunately, they didn't see any deer but Evie was trying to help. As the story goes Drew heard some rustling coming from the ground, looked over, and found Evie scratching a stick against the ground. He asked her what she was doing and here was her response: "Well, Daddy, I'm making this sound to make it seem like there is a deer feeding right here to attract another deer. When I stop it's like the deer is picking its head up." Drew responded the only way he could, "Sounds good, honey. Keep it up!" He's got a hunting partner and a smart one at that!
