So I Was Sitting Here...

...formulating this post in my head. I was going to start off by "apologizing" for not posting in a week when I saw this comment on my last post:

Yes, my brother and I are close and this is nothing new from him. So in honor of you, Grayson, here's a new post (or three)...oh, and I'll start the way I had planned:

Have you missed me? Oh, yes, I know you have. So without further ado here is the skinny on the activities here. It has been busy with the Fourth of July and much else going on here. Mom came up for the weekend and we decided to go to the park Friday afternoon. She brought up some BBQ from Maurice's in Columbia that we thoroughly enjoyed!

Eves loved swinging on this bar 4 times (because, you know, she's 4) and then plopping down to slide.
Ward got in on the action, too!

Mom and little MF had quite the conversation in this little hideaway. I believe Mary Fran told MeMe exactly what she'd like to happen at her birthday party (in September).

The sandbox was also a favorite. As you can see, Eves decided it would be better to pull her skirt up to her neck as opposed to getting it dirty. Good thinking, Eves!
