Here's an update on how Insanity is going after this first post. Well, like the husband of a good friend said, "Insane doesn't even begin to describe it!" He was right. I've finished the first month and it took me about 6 weeks instead of 4 because I was running most Saturdays, we took a trip one weekend where I ran for both days, and I have been taking 2 days off a week instead of just one as "the plan" lays out. It's been tough but let me tell you, the 2nd month is kickin' my tail! The workouts are longer and definitely more difficult and I am dripping sweat by the end of the warm-up. However, the results are real and I can definitely tell I'm stronger and the weight is coming off. I told Drew one day after a particularly hard workout, "Tell me why I keep doing this." His answer was for me to stop but I don't believe I will. While it is the toughest thing I've ever done it's really great to have a challenge and have goals. The cold and snow are keeping me from running these past few Saturdays but it's been nice to discover that the DVD's are also good for getting extra energy out of little ones!
So, would I recommend this workout? The answer is definitely "yes" but you have to want to work and be ready to push yourself to the limit. It's not for everyone but if you want a challenge, here it is!
