Little Lambs

Friday night was a first for us. The girls had their ballet performance and were sheep, more specifically lambs. To say they were precious would be an understatement. The title of the show was "Immanuel: The Promise" and told the story of Christ's birth to dance. I didn't get to see the whole show as I had volunteered along with Daphne and another mom to stay with the girls upstairs until their number came but Drew said it was great. I had hoped to see it last night but the 3-4" of snow that was still falling at showtime prevented that. :) Drew did get some pictures and a video of the girls' part of the performance on Friday night for your enjoyment so don't worry!

Our little lambs before the performance. Yes, gel was in use and the girls were so excited that they got to wear a little make-up. :) Ward was not to be left out! Here are all of the little lambs getting up on stage. I can't pick out Evie or Mary Fran right here so just use your imaginations. ;)

And for what you've all been waiting for, the video. Mary Fran is on the end of the row on the right with the sheep headband that is different that most of the other girls. Evie is down towards the left more with the different sheep headband as well. She would be the one leading everyone off. Quite the leader that one! The girls' teacher, Mrs. Rebecca, as Mary and her husband as Joseph with our friend's baby son, Jack, as Jesus.
