Last Week

Last week was somewhat of a "doosy." Mary Fran came down with a cold last Sunday (not a bad one) and Ward had it on Monday. I thought he was getting better on Tuesday but was proved wrong Tuesday night. He started coughing and wheezing despite the cough medicine and Albuterol I had given him before bed and the humidifier in his room. We nursed him through the night with his inhaler but he was getting worse. Thankfully, we were able to see the doctor at 8:30 on Wednesday and it was the doctor who admitted Ward back in April. After some oral steroids and 2 nebulizer treatments he was doing much better and we were able to go home with more oral steroids, his inhaler every 2 hours, an appointment for Thursday, and instructions to call if he got worse. Praise the Lord, he got much better and has continued to get better everyday and we didn't have to go to the hospital.
On a much happier and lighter note, the boy's doing really well with his potty training. He rarely has an accident and is pretty darn cute sitting on the potty!
Here are some videos I was going to post last week but it just got away with me. After lunch on Tuesday, the older children decided to put on a puppet show with some finger puppets PaPa got them.

And not to be left out is Cade. He's smiling a fair amount now (and winking a little as above) and "talking" some, too. To say he's growing would be an understatement. He turned 9 weeks this past Saturday and has been in 3-6 months clothes for about a week and a half now! His 2 month check-up is in about a week so I'll update the "stats" then!
