Weekend Goings On

We have had quite a weekend...weather wise, too! Drew went hunting yesterday morning and saw 2 deer but, alas, was not able to get a shot off. Considering that is was pouring a cold rain while temperatures were falling from morning highs, that's understandable. As it was getting colder as the day went on, the decision was made to "tailgate" up at Karen and Winston's house. We had a big crowd as usual and really enjoyed being with our family. Two of Ernie's daughters were in town, so that was a special treat to get to see them! ASU pulled out a victory over Elon and are one game away from winning the Southern Conference. Go Apps!
Aunt Kris (pictured) found chef's hats and aprons at the Dollar Store for the girls and surprised them yesterday. Here they are posing in them. Thanks, Kris!
Grandaddy in his apron and hat with his two oldest grandchildren. Quite a trio!
This morning we woke up to a dusting of snow and cold, biting winds. Welcome to winter in the High Country! I had to get a picture of our three young 'uns especially since Ward was in his camo overalls. Too much! :)
MF says, "Mommy, I love my brodder!" Here are both of the sisters showing the love.

Hello Honey,

Just wanted to point out that with the win over Elon, App won the southern conference. If they win next week at Western Carolina they will be the sole southern conference champions.

Great Post as usual.
