This morning Karen, Molly, and Daphne blessed us with a shower for Ward. The food, as usual, was wonderful and it was so nice to see so many of our friends. We got lots of cute outfits, diapers, wipes, nursing pads, and toboggans (a must for our winters!). I can't tell you what a blessing it was! Here are some pictures to highlight:
The food table. Notice the Jordan Almonds in the front...MY FAVORITE!!!
The pregnant lady with the gracious hosts.
Here is the quilt MaMaw made for Ward. She made one for Evie and Mary Fran as well before they were born. However, we have reached our "3 quilt limit" from MaMaw for children. :) She hand stitches all of the quilts so I would say 3 quilts is more than enough!
Aunt Daphne gave Evie and Mary Fran each one book yesterday. Here is our friend Jennifer reading to MF. Jennifer has 2 boys so she ate it up! On a side note, this was a rare moment when MF was sitting still. She kept us entertained the whole time I was opening gifts with singing and dancing...then a deep bow.

Mom gave Ward a whole bag full of Gamecock apparel. Here's a cap for him which he will probably be able to wear within his first 3 months of life as our children tend to have large heads. :) I do have to say that I requested mom get him a football jersey to wear home from the hospital. No smocked dresses as we did for the girls!
This is a cute little bear our friend, Christy Greer, knitted for Ward with his initials on it. For some reason I had not yet put together that Ward's initials are the same as Winston's but Karen pointed that out. As you can tell, we like to keep it in the family. :)
You may not be able to tell what these are at first glance but they're little sunglasses that Aunt Molly gave him along with some outfits. He will be cool!
As we are both Gamecock and App State fans, Karen gave our little man a Mountaineer toboggan. I'm so glad because we didn't have anything App Sate for him yet.
Our good friends, the Norris', gave him several outfits but the best was this camo one! He's ready for the outdoors with Daddy! After our big morning at the shower and much needed naps for all, we went to Kidd Brewer Stadium for ASU Fan Fest and the Mountaineer's scrimmage. They really looked great and, as I told Drew, I was again amazed at our speed on both sides of the ball. The real test will come 13 days from now against LSU. It's an uphill battle for sure but so was Michigan! Need I remind anyone 34-32? :)
