Last weekend we had a party for our little Eves. Well, at 6 years old she's not really little anymore but I really don't want to give that up yet. Anywho, a while back Evie mentioned she wanted to do a "Little House on the Prairie" party and that Aunt Molly said she'd make dresses for Evie and Mary Fran. Well, with that being said, how could we say no? Between getting back on track after the wedding, we got ready for the party last Saturday. We encouraged everyone to dress up if possible and really had more "participants" than I thought we would!
The (not so) wee Eves with her cake. We have the cabin with Pa tilling the fields with Pet and Patty and Patty's foal, Bunny. My mom volunteered to bring the paper products and really outdid herself. She asked a friend of hers who has all sorts of neat stuff if she could borrow some of her things and boy did she! Mom brought up several checked tablecloths, lanterns, bandanna cloth napkins, and tin plates. How perfect!

Daphne's mom sewed several period dresses for Daph's sister, Meghan, and her friends when they were performing in high school. Daph offered them to some of us ladies to wear for the party. Woohoo!
