Fun in the Sun

Friday we were invited to go down to run in the sprinkler Aunt Molly had brought to Ruthie and LeeAnne's. Well, don't mind if we do!

Had to get a shot of the three of them before going down. Ward is getting big, isn't he?

Molly bought this cool sprinkler at Wal-Mart for only $8. In case you can't see it, it's a long tube with little tubes coming off of it that squirt water everywhere. It was quite fun! Ward liked it until he got too close as you can see and LeeAnne liked it once she got warmed up to it. :)

Aunt Molly bought water guns, too, and they all had a big time with them.
On Saturday, we blew up our pool for the kiddos to play in and Ruthie and LeeAnne came up to join us.


When we set up the pool it was on a little bit of and incline making one end deeper than the other. Evie told us that the deep end was for the big kids and the shallow end for the little ones. Listen for it.
After a while LeeAnne decided she would rather ride bikes than splash in the pool. Safety first!

The Dustin Petrey girls came up after naps on Sunday to "swim" as well. They weren't as interested in it this time for whatever reason and the big girls decided to play with the dollhouse we have in the basement. Ward and LeeAnne kept getting in and out of the pool. Here's a little snapshot of them.
It's been hotter and more humid than normal up here so we are grateful for some water to cool off in. Summer is a wonderful time...especially this year!
