Two weeks ago the children and I were studying Mars. (This year in science were learning about astronomy.) One of the things we read about was the "Mars Rover" and one of the suggested activities was to make our own. Well, we jumped on that! I mean, who wouldn't want to say we were learning while eating ALL red light foods?!?!
We got us some graham crackers for the "body," Oreos for the "wheels," icing for the "glue," and Twizzlers for the "embellishments," of course. Here's how it turned out:
