Please forgive my lack of posts of late. Between making apple chips, applesauce, doing school, and changing summer clothes out for winter I've been a little busy. Also, Blogger changed the templates, etc and it took me a little while to get it all figured out and put as I want it. :) But I digress...
The (not so) wee Eves has been growing her hair out for Locks for Love. Last Thursday was the big day! Her ponytail had gotten to the minimum 10 inches, so off we went to Ms. Karen to get it clipped. Sidenote: Drew asked her the night before if she was sure she wanted to cut it. She said she did because she wanted to help a little girl who didn't have any hair. "Besides," she said, "it'll grow back, Daddy." Her daddy likes her long locks. :)

She was so excited she got to send off her hair and wrote a note to the little girl that began "Dear Friend." That night when she finished with her shower she said, "Mommy, it was so different to wash my hair. It took no time at all!"
