Two weeks ago we went back down to Old Salem in Winston-Salem for their "Homeschool Days." We had a great time again and learned so much! Here are a few pictures from our day...
Watching how they used to crush up apples for cider.
Pumping water!
Where there's a tree, it must be climbed.
We had us a picnic lunch on the Town Square which was oh, so nice.
This year we learned about making brooms, what their pillow were made of, pottery, different grains, and even got to sample some fresh made pumpkin fritters. Of course, we didn't leave without some yummy cookies to take home! Once again, it was so much fun and we would highly recommend Old Salem to everyone!
