First Home Game

This past weekend was the home opener for our Appalachian Mountaineers. Aunt Kris offered us 4 tickets for our family last week and we graciously accepted. We were all very excited as this would be the first time the boys and I had been to a game and the first time our whole family would be able to go. Pumped is the best word for it. Drew's family has a couple of places reserved for tailgating and we do it up right! :)

On our way from the place we had parked to the tailgating spot, we saw the infamous Coach Moore. The boys got their picture took. With Saturday's win, Coach Moore reached 200 career wins!

Here is the fabulous cake that was made to celebrate Mamaw, Mary Fran, Molly, Ward, Shannon, and my birthday. All in September!

It was a great win for the Apps at home. We also had the joy of catching the second half of Carolina's win over Georgia. Overall, it was a full but great Saturday!
