"I'm 1"

"I'm 1!"
Posing on Daddy's guitar
Last Thursday morning I went in to wake up Mary Fran and as she was waking up she said "I'm one." I didn't quite understand what she said so I asked her to say it again and she said (with half-opened eyes), "I'm one" and held up one finger. You see, the previous day had been Evie's birthday and she taught Mary Fran how to show with her fingers that she was one. Evie would say, "I'm three" (holding up her fingers)"How old are you, Mary Fran?" MF would then proceed to hold her finger up and say "I'm one." Then the best part from Evie, "Good job, Mary Fran. When you're three you can play soccer like me. I'll teach you. You have to get a little older."
Mary Fran is our little "ham" and her personality is really coming out. She loves her big sister and is learning new words, phrases, and sentences everyday. She can hold her own with Evie, which is a good thing, and is just as big as anybody else. Just thought y'all might like to see a day in the life of Mary Frances!
