Today is quite a milestone in the Petrey family. My mother and father-in-law are celebrating 35 years of wedded bliss on this very day. Being that is a big anniversary, we had a celebratory dinner for them this past Sunday evening. And while that would have been very nice by itself, we in the Petrey family do nothing "small." My extremely creative and dramatically inclined sister-in-law, Daphne, put together a play for the older grands to do. Without further ado, here would be the entertainment for the evening...
This would be the stars of the play. Evie, Ruthie, and Mary Fran were the narrators. Ward and LeeAnne played the parts of "Big Win" and "Karen," respectively. Seeing as how they were married in the 70's, blue eyeshadow was a must. Oh, and Big Win had a very fashionable mustache at the time of their nuptuals, so, of course we had to give him one. To be authentic. :)
